A Guide To Rapid Weight Loss
Often, losing weight, even on a rapid weight loss program is something we try and fit into our otherwise busy weekly routines although it should really be considered much more important. If you are not determined and willing to change your bad habits then it doesn’t matter what diet you’re on, it probably won’t work. The factors that dictate the speed at which a person sheds pounds is quite complex; for example:
Genetic make-up
Mental health concerns
Attitude towards improving their health
A person’s weight can cause severe mental and physical anguish. Whilst the number of physical and mental effects on an overweight person is great, it is amazing how these can be turned around when a person starts to lose weight. This is the reason why so many people want rapid weight loss systems, so they can start seeing results quickly but they also need support from family and friends; an approach that combines diet, exercise, emotional support and in some cases, diet supplements must be used if it is to be successful. Your chosen diet plan must be fairly flexible so it will suit your tastes but this should not be relied upon to do all the work for you; exercise such as walking, cycling, swimming etc. should be part of this regime.
It must be remembered that despite the number of rapid weight loss diet plans around, they will not all work with everyone that is on them; there will be different weight loss speeds and levels of success with anyone that uses them. If you are not losing weight as fast as you would like, you can always change aspects of the plan you are on and adjust the amount of exercise you carry out each day but you will know your body and limitations better than anyone else. Your body should tell you whether your program is working so you need to listen to it and if you find that the diet you have chosen is not the right one then change it.
Some people are unable to run, dance or swim so if you are only comfortable walking then that is fine; this is proven to be the best exercise and as muscles burn more calories than fat it’s also best to put on a little muscle which will make you look good too. Many people who are dieting forget the importance of staying hydrated; whether on a rapid weight loss program or not, don’t forget the benefits of at least six 8oz glasses of water each day because it also flushes out nasty toxins as well. Fried foods are generally bad for you even when they are chicken or fish, both of which contain more fat than beef when it is fried.
In Summary
Foods that are grilled are by definition, not cooked in oil or their own fat which means once cooked they retain little or no fat so are better for overall health. Some people believe you should give up eating carbohydrates but without them in your diet you will not have any energy to exercise and by definition lose weight. Using a weight loss plan like this will mean that if followed correctly then around a pound a day will be lost, depending on the individual but it must be said that failure to maintain this level of 1,000 to 1,500 calories per day will ensure the weight will be put back on.
