There are many gases that we are surrounded by. We are almost unaware of the names of the gases also. Like for gasoline that is there around us all the time is a very harmful gas. Gasoline is a complex mixture of petroleum hydrocarbons. The gasoline gas is mainly used as fuel for vehicles and used as solvents. Sources of gasoline are many for example from garages especially if they are connected to homes, by using lawn movers as it runs on gasoline etc. These harm our lives specially our health by causing various sorts of irritation, skin diseases like dermatitis, cracking of skin, and increases our affinity to cold. High level of exposure to gasoline may cause fatigue, blurred vision, dizziness, weakness, slurred speech, confusion, coma, death, possible liver kidney damage, cancer and if continuously this gas reaches your lung then it may cause chemical pneumonia.
A very harmful gas that we inhale everyday is carbon dioxide. No this gas is not harmful for all. For us human beings carbon dioxide is necessary to some extent but excess of it can be fatal. People those who work in coalmines or factories where carbon gas is released they really need to be careful. Acute carbon dioxide toxicity is known as blackdamp. Carbon dioxide caused a great loss of life at Lake Nyos in Cameroon in 1986, due to the upwelling of the carbon dioxide laden lake. The lesser the usage of these harmful gasses the more life will flourish in the world. The usage of water for gas would result in lesser emission of toxic gasses in the atmosphere and thus make an environment that would be truly healthy in all manners.
